IBIC offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or you engage in our “Service”, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including, without limitation, users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content. These terms are to be read along with the Privacy Policy and other policies on the website.

Any new features or tools added to the current services shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You may review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website after posting any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (the “IT Act”) and the rules made thereunder as applicable and amended, pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the IT Act. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signature. This document is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011, which require publishing the rules and regulations, privacy policy, and Terms of Use for access or usage of www.ibic.ai.
Our terms and conditions have been designed to offer all parties protection and peace of mind and ensure the safety of the mentee, the client, and the mentor/s.
1) Organisation Overview
I BELIEVE I CAN is a Dynamic Community designed to Foster Women's Success through Empathetic Mentoring and Guidance. IBIC aspires to accelerate the growth of women in the labour force worldwide by creating impactful interventions that leverage the inspirational knowledge and expertise of women leaders to elevate and empower other women in their career development. This unique platform connects women mentees from diverse regions with women mentors worldwide.
2) Registration
The Mentors and Mentees must abide by the website's “Terms of Service” and “Privacy Policy” before submitting the application form. If necessary, IBIC will contact certain candidates to submit additional information as needed
3) User Obligations and disclaimer
Further, the members undertake not to abuse, harass, threaten, defame, disillusion, abrogate, demean, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic, libelous, be invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically objectionable, disparaging, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise unlawful in any manner whatever; or unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing including but not limited to “indecent representation of women” within the meaning of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986 and are bound not to violate any code of conduct and guidelines as well as terms and laws, which may be applicable for or to any particular Service.
THE MENTOR AND THE MENTEES REMAIN SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT OF THE MATERIALS SHARED BY EACH OTHER. Members are solely responsible for protecting the confidentiality.
4) Termination
The Mentor-Mentee Agreement is effective unless and until terminated by either you or IBIC. We may terminate the User Agreement at any time and immediately without notice and accordingly deny you access to any activity related to the organisation. If you provide us with false and/or inaccurate details, or we have reason to believe you have done so, we have the right to terminate the Agreement between us permanently.
5) Disputes and Jurisdiction
All disputes involving but not limited to rights conferred, compensation, refunds, and other claims will be resolved through a two-step Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanism through MEDIATION and ARBITRATION. If the dispute cannot be resolved by this two-step Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanism, it shall be referred to the courts, which are convenient to the organisation.
6) Miscellaneous General Terms

The Mentee/Mentor is solely governed by the Terms and the Privacy Policy and any modifications or amendments made thereto by the Organisation, from time to time, at its sole discretion.

The Mentee/Mentor unequivocally agrees that these Terms and the aforementioned Policy constitute a legally binding agreement between the Mentee/Mentor and the organisation, and that the Mentee/Mentor shall be subject to the rules, guidelines, and policies.

Registration for this Service is available only to those over 18 years of age, barring those “Incompetent to Contract,” which, inter alia​, include insolvents as determined solely by the provisions of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

Mentees and Mentors shall not copy, adapt, or modify any content without the organisation's written permission.

IBIC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to select, appoint, or unilaterally terminate the Mentee/Mentor’s access to the Services, or any portion thereof, at any time, without notice or cause.

Notwithstanding other legal remedies that may be available to it, IBIC may, in its sole discretion, limit the Mentee/Mentor’s access and/or activity by immediately removing the Mentee/Mentor’s access credentials either temporarily or indefinitely. If the Mentee/Mentor is in breach of any of these Terms or the Policy, If the Mentee/Mentor has provided wrong, inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect information, If the Mentee/Mentor’s actions may cause any harm, damage, or loss to the other Mentee/Mentors or the Organisation, at the sole discretion of the Proprietor.

The Mentor and the Mentee agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the organisation, its independent service providers, program sponsoring companies and consultants, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any losses, liabilities, claims, damages, demands, costs and expenses (including legal fees and disbursements in connection therewith and interest chargeable thereon) asserted against or incurred by us that arise out of, result from, or may be payable by virtue of, any breach or non-performance of any representation, warranty, covenant or agreement made or obligation to be performed by you pursuant to these terms of use.

The Mentee/Mentor is further aware that any reproduction or infringement of the intellectual property of the aforementioned Organisation by the Mentee/Mentor will result in legal action being initiated against the Mentee/Mentor by the respective of the intellectual property so reproduced/infringed upon.

These Terms, read with the Policy, form the complete and final contract between the Mentee/Mentor and IBIC regarding the subject matter hereof and supersede all other communications, representations, and agreements (whether oral, written, or otherwise) relating thereto.

TERMS OF MENTORS
1) Registration
-
The Mentors will be required to abide by the “Terms” and “Privacy Policy” of the Website prior to submission of the application form. If required, IBIC will reach out to certain applicants to submit additional information if they clear the initial stages of selection.

A copy of our detailed terms and conditions will be sent to you at the time of engagement, and we ask that you read them carefully before confirming your service with us.
2) User Obligations and disclaimer
Further, the members undertake not to abuse, harass, threaten, defame, disillusion, abrogate, demean, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic, libelous, be invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically objectionable, disparaging, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise unlawful in any manner whatever; or unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing including but not limited to “indecent representation of women” within the meaning of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986 and are bound not to violate any code of conduct and guidelines as well as terms and laws, which may be applicable for or to any particular Service.
THE MENTOR REMAINS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT OF THE MATERIALS SHARED. Also, the Mentors are solely responsible for protecting confidentiality.
3) Termination
The Mentor Agreement with Mentee is effective unless and until terminated by either you both or by the Organisation. The Organisation may terminate the User Agreement at any time. It may do so immediately without notice and accordingly deny you access to any of the activity related to the organisation. In the case that you provide us with false and/or inaccurate details, or we have reason to believe you have done so, we hold the right to terminate the mentor arbitrarily or temporarily, or permanently.
4) Disputes and Jurisdiction
All disputes involving but not limited to rights conferred, compensation, refunds, and other claims will be resolved through a two-step Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanism through MEDIATION and ARBITRATION. If the dispute cannot be resolved by this two-step Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanism, it shall be referred to the courts, which are convenient to the organisation.
5) Miscellaneous General Duties and Terms of organisation to the Mentor

The Mentor is governed solely by the Terms and the Privacy Policy and any modifications or amendments made thereto by the Organisation, from time to time, at its sole discretion.

Mentor Registration for this Service is available only to those with the age of majority in your state or province of residence.

Mentors shall not copy, adapt, and modify any content without written permission of the organisation.

The Organisation reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to select, appoint, or unilaterally terminate the Mentor’s access to the Services, or any portion thereof, at any time, without notice or cause.

The Mentor further undertakes:

not to violate any code of conduct or guideline that may be applicable for or to any particular service offered,
-
not to violate any applicable laws, rules, or regulations currently in force within or outside India,
-
not to violate any portion of these Terms or the Policy, including but not limited to any applicable additional terms therein or elsewhere, whether made by amendment, modification or otherwise;

The Mentor is further aware that any reproduction or infringement of the intellectual property of the aforementioned Organisation by the Mentor will result in legal action being initiated against the Mentor by the respective of the intellectual property so reproduced/infringed upon.

These Terms, read with the Policy, form the complete and final contract between the Mentee/Mentor and the Proprietor with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all other communications, representations, and agreements (whether oral, written, or otherwise) relating thereto.

Mentor general Terms and obligations to the Mentee:

The mentor shall comply with and give all notices required by all laws and regulations applicable to the service.

The mentor hereby understands and acknowledges that time is of the essence with respect to the mentor’s obligation defined in the agreement and that prompt and timely performance of all such commitments is strictly required, in consideration for the entire prompt and satisfactory performance of all services to be rendered to the mentee.

Mentor makes no guarantees, warranties, or representations of any kind, expressed or implied, with respect to the service rendered and negotiated subject to the agreement. In no event shall the mentor be held liable to the mentee for any special, direct, or consequential damages.

The mentee should agree that the mentor is not responsible for any inaction or actions or indirect or direct results of any services.

Terms and Termination
The mentorship term should be assigned by the Organisation. The mentor may terminate the agreement at any given time upon 1 month of return notice to the mentee as agreed mutually with IBIC.

Confidential Information
The mentor shall not have the right and entitlement to disclose any information related to the agreement and the details of the mentee services herein represented and embodied.
No announcement or disclosure in connection with the existent or subject matter of the agreement shall be made or issued by are on behalf of any party without the prior written approval of the others.
TERMS OF MENTEE
1) Registration

The Mentee will be required to abide by the “Terms” and “Privacy Policy” of the Website prior to submission of the application form. If required, IBIC will reach out to respective candidates to submit additional information if they clear the initial stages of selection.

A copy of our detailed terms and conditions will be available at the time of registration, and we ask that you read them carefully before confirming your mentoring service with us. *Please note that a mentoring session cannot be secured without us having agreed terms in place (including but not limited to fees and timings – each agreement will be on a bespoke basis).
2) User Obligations and disclaimer
Further, the members undertake not to abuse, harass, threaten, defame, disillusion, abrogate, demean, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic, libelous, be invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically objectionable, disparaging, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise unlawful in any manner whatever; or unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing including but not limited to “indecent representation of women” within the meaning of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986 and are bound not to violate any code of conduct and guidelines as well as terms and laws, which may be applicable for or to any particular Service.

The Organisation may terminate the User Agreement at any time and may do so immediately without notice and accordingly deny you access to any of the activity related to the Organisation. In the case that You provide Us with false and/or inaccurate details or We have reason to believe You have done so, We hold the right to temporarily or permanently Terminate the Mentee arbitrarily.
4) Disputes and Jurisdiction
All disputes involving but not limited to rights conferred, compensation, refunds, and other claims will be resolved through a two-step Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanism through MEDIATION and ARBITRATION. If the dispute cannot be resolved by this two-step Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanism, it shall be referred to the courts that are convenient to the organisation.
5) Miscellaneous General Duties and Terms of Organisation to the Mentee

Mentee Registration for this Service is available only to those with the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

Mentee shall not copy, adapt, and modify any content without written permission of the organisation.

The Organisation reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to select, appoint or provide and terminate the Mentee’s Services, or any portion thereof, at any time, without notice or cause.

The Mentee further undertakes not to Violate any code of conduct or guideline which may be applicable for or to any particular service offered, Violate any applicable laws, rules or regulations currently in force within or outside India, Violate any portion of these Terms or the Policy, including but not limited to any applicable additional terms of therein or elsewhere, whether made by amendment, modification, or otherwise;

These Terms, read with the Policy, form the complete and final contract between the Mentee/Mentor and the organisation with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all other communications, representations, and agreements (whether oral, written or otherwise) relating thereto.
Mentees General Duty and Obligation to the Mentor:

The mentee agrees to communicate efficiently and reasonably with the mentor, provide honest feedback to the mentor, and fully engage in the mentor’s program and the respective services they agree to provide.

The mentee further acknowledges that the mentor may offer advice, recommendations, suggestions or other guidance which the mentee is free to accept or reject, and the mentee agrees that the mentee alone is responsible for the consequences of such decisions unless otherwise agreed upon in writing between the mentor and mentee.

1) Completion of the work
The mentee hereby understands and acknowledges that full cooperation with the Mentor in respect of the obligation defined in the agreement and the timely competition of the mentorship as per the agreement are necessary.
2) Service fee
In consideration for the full, prompt, and satisfactory performance of all services to be rendered to the mentee, the mentee shall pay the mentor a service fee as per the agreement or fixed by the organization.
3) Limitation of liability

The mentee shall promptly report to the mentor any defect in the mentor’s performance of the services as soon as reasonably practicable as per any such defect comes to the attention of the mentee.

The mentee agrees that the mentor is not responsible for any inaction or actions or indirect or direct results of any services.
4) Terms and Termination
-
The mentee may terminate the agreement at any given time upon 1 month of return notice to the mentor and to the organization.

The mentee understands that the mentor may terminate this agreement at any time if the mentee fails to pay for the services or breaches any other material provisions listed in the agreement.
5) Confidential Information
-
The mentee shall not have the right and entitlement to disclose any information and detail regarding the agreement and the mentor services herein represented and embodied.

No announcement or disclosure in connection with the existent or subject matter of the agreement shall be made or issued by are on behalf of any party without the prior written approval of the others.
6) Assignment
The mentee shall not assign the agreement or subcontract its performance without the mentor's prior written consent.
